The Anker Prime 100W solves the “which charger do I grab” problem with three ports and an intelligent output-sharing algorithm that automatically adjusts wattage per port based on what’s connected. Plug in a MacBook alone and it gets 100W. Add an iPhone and it splits to 67W + 20W. Add a third device and it re-negotiates again — a background process that happens without any user input. For travel, this single 3.36oz brick replaces three dedicated chargers without giving anything up.
GaN III (third-generation gallium nitride) technology is what makes 100W output possible from a 2.48 × 1.73 × 1.50 inch body. Gallium nitride transistors switch at higher frequencies with lower heat loss than silicon, allowing the engineering team to reduce both size and the temperature the adapter runs at. After a 90-minute MacBook Pro charge session the Anker Prime is warm but not uncomfortably hot — comparable to Apple’s own 96W adapter at a third of the size.
Dynamic Power Distribution works across 2× USB-C and 1× USB-A ports. All USB-C ports support USB PD 3.1 and PPS (Programmable Power Supply) for fast-charging Samsung, Pixel, and other PPS-compatible phones at their maximum supported rates. The LED indicator on the front shows active port output without requiring the Anker app.

Great travel charger. I appreciate the LED indicator showing active ports without opening an app. The wall plug is fixed (US) so international travel requires an adapter, which is slightly annoying for a product positioned for travellers. Otherwise flawless.

Exactly what it says. 100W out, GaN efficiency, tiny footprint. Charged a MacBook Pro 14″ from 10% to full in about 1h50m which is on par with Apple’s own adapter. The dynamic power distribution across three ports works without any thought from the user — just plug things in.

This replaced three separate chargers in my bag. Plugged into my MacBook Pro (100W single port), iPhone (20W from second port), and earbuds simultaneously and all three charge at full speed. The charger runs slightly warm under full 100W load but not uncomfortable — cooler than my old 87W MagSafe USB-C. Small and light enough that I don’t think about the weight.
