Nothing Phone (3) arrives with a redesigned Glyph Interface 2.0 that covers 20% of the rear glass panel with individually addressable LED segments — not a gimmick, but a customisable notification system that lets you assign unique light patterns to contacts, apps, and timers so you know at a glance what requires attention without unlocking the phone. The transparent back reveals real hardware this time: actual components from the circuit board are visible beneath the cover.
Nothing OS 3.5 runs on top of Android 15 and continues the brand’s commitment to a clean interface: no preinstalled apps, monochrome icon packs, and a lock screen that surfaces only the information you’ve requested. The Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 handles anything in the day-to-day portfolio without thermal throttling. The camera system is a significant upgrade over the Phone (2) — 50MP main with large-pixel binning for low light, 50MP ultrawide, and a 50MP telephoto at 3× optical for the first time in the Nothing lineup.
Nothing is a young company with genuine design conviction, and Phone (3) shows they can execute at a competitive price. Four years of OS updates and five years of security patches make it a reasonable long-term investment for Android enthusiasts who want a phone that looks and works differently than anything else in the market.

Mei Tanaka –
The Glyph Interface 2.0 is the first notification system that made me check my phone less. I assigned different light patterns to my five most important contacts and my calendar — I glance at the back and know immediately whether the notification matters. Nothing OS is genuinely clean and fast. The camera is good but not class-leading at this price.
